*Chat

Chats are started by creating folders, allowing important information to be easily found.

Creating a Chat folder

It is important to note that only Captains and Admin are able to create new folders.

On the Home screen, tap Add Chat, or go to the Chats screen and and tap the + icon.
Fill in the Chat Name and add an image if you would like.
Choose whether the Chat is visible to all Crew Members, or if it just for the Inner Circle.
If it is important information, you may choose to pin the chat. Tap on the ellipsis in the top right of the screen and choose Pin Chat. This Chat folder will now always be at the top of the list.
Tap Add Chat.

Adding a comment in a Chat

To add a comment to a Chat:

On the Chat screen, tap on the folder you wish to add to.
You'll see that you are able to add a comment, and to attach a document or photo.
To react to a comment, tap the emoji icon under the message and choose a reaction.
To see who has reacted to a comment, tap and hold the emoji.

*VIDEO How to comment in Chat - NB the video says to either Add Chat or go to the Chat screen. That's not correct. The Add Chat shortcut on the homepage is only to add a new chat folder.

Editing a Chat.

To change the contents of a comment you have posted:

Tap and hold on the comment.
Choose Edit Comment.
Make the changes you would like and tap the ✔️icon.

Editing the Chat Settings.

Captains and Admin are able to change the settings on a Chat. To do this:

On the Chats screen, tap on the name of the Chat folder.
Tap the ellipsis in the top right corner and choose Chat Settings.
Make the changes and tap Save Changes.
